Mayor, county judge issue disaster declarations

CHILDRESS – Two local disaster declarations were issued in Childress on Friday, September 11 related to the boil water notice currently in effect.

Mayor Cary Preston and Childress County Judge Kim Jones issued separate declarations for the city and county, each of which remain in place for seven days but may be extended.
