First Christian lifts students, teachers in prayer

Courtesy Photo Wellington First Christian Church celebrated “Back to School” on Sunday, Aug. 14. During the service, the congregation lifted the youth and teachers in special prayer as they begin the new school year. For the message, Pastor Brian Moore began a series, looking at the Prophet Elijah. He challenged the youth to do their best in serving God in all situations. “The youth received special name tags to put on their backpacks, and all enjoyed a wonderful fellowship meal after the service,” Moore said.
