PET VACCINATION CLINIC Memphis Animal Control and Critter Care Vet Clinic will host a Pet Vaccination Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Memphis Volunteer Fire Department, 721 W. Robertson St. Rabies, distemper-parvovirus, Bordetella (kennel cough), rattlesnake, feline RCP+Ch and feline leukemia virus vaccines will be available as well as city tags (free with the purchase of a rabies vaccine), de-wormer and kennel licenses.

HALL COUNTY PICNIC Get ready of the 88th Hall County Picnic! Kicking off at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, the Preservation Foundation will host their annual Cowboy Breakfast at Bertie Fannies, followed by the 6th Annual 5K and One-Mile Run/Walk at 8 a.m. in front of Memphis High School.

The annual Hall County Parade will begin at 11 a.m. with registration at the Memphis Farmers Gin Office at 9:30 a.m. The free street dance will end the night, lasting from 8 p.m. until midnight, on 6th St.

Throughout the day, over 50 vendors will take the downtown square, selling food, crafts, jewelry and more.

5K WALK/RUN Get your move on at the 6th Annual 5K Walk/Run. Held in conjunction with the Hall County Picnic, the run will begin in front of the Memphis High School at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. NON-DOM COFFEE Join First United Methodist Church, 121 N. 8th St., for a free, non-denominational coffee get-together from 7-10 a.m. every Tuesday on the patio in the garden.

BREAKFAST WITH THE KING Enjoy breakfast with the King at the First United Methodist Church, 121 N. 8th St., the first Monday of every month.

LEGALAID CLINIC Open 10 a.m. – noon on the second Friday of each month, the legal aid clinic is located on the first floor of the Hall County Courthouse, 512 W.

FREE EXCERISE CLASSES Join Michelle Branigan for free exercise classes beginning at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 121 N. 8th St. Levels of activity differ weekly.

LOW IMPACT EXERCISE CLASS Free low impact exercise classes are offered at the Memphis Library, 305 S. 8th St., from 8:30-9 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. All ages are welcome. No special clothing or footwear is required.

REPORT HAZARDS Citizens are asked to report potholes, fallen tree limbs, street light outages and other concerns by contacting City Hall at 806-259-3001.
