    CHILDRESS — Childress High School seniors Corbin Daniel and Meg Ridens will spend a week in Washington, D.C., thanks to South Plains Electric Cooperative. Through the Government- in-Action Youth Tour, an annual program sponsored by electric cooperatives nationwide, Daniel and Ridens will join roughly 100 fellow Texas for the trip, which will take place Sunday, June 11 through Monday, June 19.
