At 7 p.m. Monday, May 1, the Wellington Music Department presented their Spring Concert in the Wellington High School Auditorium. The sixth-grade band began the program with three selections, including “Trumpet Hero” by Paul Lavender and introduced by Haliah Gipson, “Apollo Overture” by Andrew Balent and introduced by Miles Ouellette and “Rattlesnake” by Paul Lavender and introduced by Castin Tarver.
The seventh-grade band continued the program with their three selections, including “Linus and Lucy” by Michael Sweeney and introduced by Sarah Willingham, “Don’t Cha” by Michael Sweeney, introduced by Vellyn Peckler, and “Rust Belt” by William Owens and introduced by Alberto Cruz.
