WELLINGTON – The Wellington Independent School District (ISD) Board of Education met in a special meeting at noon on Tuesday, May 16 in the Superintendent’s Office.
President Cody Phillips called the meeting to order. Additional members present included Brad Bawcom, Lance Kane, Jonathan Killian, Mark Lemons, Gene Pena and Alison Strickland. School personnel present were Superintendent Kurt Ashmore, Athletic Director Greg Proffitt, Business Manager Dian Souder and Secretary Kellye Conner.
The board went into closed session at 12:01 p.m. under Texas Open Meetings Act to discuss personnel. At 12:17 p.m., the board came out of closed session.
