JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION The Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration, hosted by the Butler and Matthews Reunion, is in the works. Residents from Childress, Clarendon, Estelline, Memphis, Shamrock, Vernon, Wellington and more are invited to attend.This year’s parade theme will be “2023 Come Party with Me!” Parade colors include black, red, green, yellow, white and orange.
The parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17 with participants lining up at 8 a.m.
