Monson Music Studio hosts 47th Annual Spring Awards Recital

CHILDRESS — Monson Music Studio presented piano and violin students during the 47th Annual Spring Awards Recital Sunday, May 21 at the Childress Junior High School Auditorium.

Medals and ribbons were presented to Selah Smith for Piano – Beginner Most Progress, Alyssa Harms for Piano – Most Improvement, RayLee Elliott for Violin – Beginner Most Progress, Mia Mc-Cord for Violin – Most Improvement and Jentry Souder for receiving the highest score of the Monson Music Studio students in the National Piano Playing Guild (NPPG) Auditions, which were held May 10-13 in Vernon.

Receiving certificates of musical achievements for runners-up to the highest score were Ava Barlow and Avery Keys, first-place tie; Blair Ward, third place; and Alyssa Harms and Ryker Schaefer, fourth-place tie.
