Born July 6, 1923, in Collingsworth County, Margaret Savage ponders the fresh flower arrangement, iced cake pops and fruit punch arranged for her 100th birthday celebration Saturday, July 8. Assembled in the dining room of Wellington Care Center, her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Mike Hughs, hosted the party. The crowd of around 30 family, friends and residents partook in the centenarian’s festive birthday party.
