Jan. 26 The junior varsity and varsity Memphis Cyclone and Lady Cyclone basketball teams play the Wellington Skyrockets and Lady Rockets in Wellington. The junior varsity Lady Cyclones play at 4 p.m., followed by the junior varsity Cyclones at 5 p.m., the varsity Lady Cyclones at 6:30 p.m.

Wellington’s TJ Salinas makes free throws in the aggressive contest Friday, Jan. 19 as the junior varsity (JV) Rockets hosted the Clarendon Broncos. Wellington took the 47-29 win, leading 23-18 at the half. High-point scorers for Wellington included Callen Kane with 14 points and Salinas with 10. Others scoring were Noah Cantu and Kamron Brooks with nine points each, Conner Bowen with three and Hunter Hedrick with two. The Red River Sun/Bev Odom
