BURKBURNETT — Childress and Wellington runners competed in the 2023 Burkburnett Cross Country Jamboree Thursday,Aug.31 at Burkburnett High School. Finishing second as a team, Lady Rockets Addi Mock, Ayz’lin Menefield, Sabrina Segovia and Leslie Orozco medaled individually.

Bobcats claw past Breckenridge to maintain undefeated record

BRECKENRIDGE — Thanks to a late fourth-quarter comeback, the Childress Bobcats remain undefeated after clawing their way past the Breckenridge Buckaroos with a 24-21 final Friday, Sept. 1 at Buckaroo Stadium.
