STRATFORD — Following a touch loss, the Childress Bobcats bounced back in their final non-district matchup Friday, Oct. 3 at E.L. Bass Stadium, taking a hard-fought 41-26 win over the Stratford Elks to make one final statement before district play.

Through the Lens of LizKids Crockin’, sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Childress County, in conjunction with Childress County 4-H and the Childress Women’s League, wraps up another successful three-session program Monday, Sept. 22 at the Childress Elementary School Cafeteria.

WELLINGTON — The once undefeated Wellington Skyrockets fell in their first non-district loss of the season, blanked by the Panhandle Panthers in a 41-0 shutout Friday, Sept. 26 at Powell Field in Wellington.
Under the leadership of Lady Rocket cross country coach Travis Nicks, Taytum Kane earns the fourth-place medal at the Lubbock Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 27.
