Kane sisters lead Wellington’s rule at Hollis cross country event

HOLLIS, Okla. – Running at Hollis Golf Course, the Wellington Lady Rocket and Lady Firecracker cross country teams brought home both division championships Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Second Annual Hollis Cross Country Meet in Oklahoma.

Childress finds first win of season over Breckenridge

CHILDRESS — After a rough season-opening road trip in Week 1, the Childress Bobcats rallied back on home turf, picking up their first win of the season and beating the Breckenridge Buckaroos in a 21-14 final Friday Sept. 5 at Fair Park Stadium.

BORGER — Childress, Memphis and Wellington track and field athletes recently competed in the 5th Annual Jeep Webb Classic Saturday, Aug. 30 in Borger, where Childress’ Selah Smith, a freshman, finished second with a personal best of 13:04.77.
