WELLINGTON — Despite a lightning delay, the Wellington Skyrockets won big over Sanford-Fritch Wednesday, April 30, earning the bi-district championship title in a 15-4 final.
The Childress Lady Cats came up short in the area round, falling in a 7-0 shutout against the Coahoma Bulldogettes, who scored four runs in the second inning to secure their win, Friday, May 2.
