WELLINGTON — The Wellington Skyrockets recently picked up back-toback district wins over Floydada and Lockney.Striking out 15 batters, Alex Orozco led the Skyrockets in a 6-0 blank over Floydada Friday, April 11, allowing zero hits and zero runs over seven innings while walking two.

PANHANDLE — Competing at the UIL 2A Area 1-2 Championships Wednesday, April 9 at Panther Stadium in Panhandle, the Wellington Skyrockets brought home an area championship title, thanks to five first-place finishes.
