The Childress Lady Cats closed the season Monday, Feb. 10, taking a 55-42 bi-district loss against the Idalou Lady Wildcats in Floydada.
In another nailbiter, the Wellington Lady Rockets concluded the 2024-2025 season in the 2A Division 1 UIL Area Championship, falling to the New Deal Lady Lions in overtime by a final score of 54-51 at Amarillo Caprock High School at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13. LUBBOCK — Grace Foster delivered a dominant double-double performance with 21 points and 11 rebounds, becoming Lubbock Christian University’s (LCU) all-time leading scorer and the first Lady Chaparral to surpass 1,800 career points during a 75-60 win against Angelo State on Thursday, Feb. 13.
