The Wellington Lady Rockets traveled to the Jayton Tournament, where they clinched the two-day tournament championship with a 4-0 record Tuesday, Nov. 26. In the final contest, Wellington defeated the tournament host, the Jayton Lady Jaybirds, by a final score of 56-33.

The Childress Lady Cats ranked No. 7 in On the Sideline’s Week 4 lineup, announced Friday, Nov. 29, coming in behind No. 1 Nocona, No. 2 Burkburnett, No. 3 Muenster, No. 4 Vernon, No. 5 City View and No. 6 Newcastle. Next, the Lady Cats will take on the Abernathy Lady Lopes at 6:15 p.m.

BOBCAT ATHLETICS

Dec. 2The junior high Childress Bobkitten and Lady Kitten basktetball teams play Canadian. The boys‘ seventh-grade A and B and eighth-grade B teams play at 5 p.m., followed by the eighth-grade A team at 6 p.m. in Childress, while he girls’ seventh-grade A team plays at 5 p.m.

CYCLONE ATHLETICS

Dec. 3The junior varsity and varsity Memphis Cyclone and Lady Cyclone basketball teams play Shamrock in Shamrock. The junior varsity girls play at 4 p.m., followed by the junior varsity boys at 5 p.m., the varsity girls at 6 p.m. and varsity boys at 7:30 p.m.Dec.
