Nov. 15The varsity Childress Bobcat football team will play the Slaton Tigers for the bi-district championship at 7 p.m. in Floydada.Nov. 16The junior high Childress Bobkitten and Lady Kitten basketball teams play the Tulia Hornets in Tulia. The seventh-grade A boys play at 11 a.m.

Nov. 15The varsity Memphis Cyclone and Lady Cyclone basketball teams play the Pringle-Morse Cougars and Lady Cougars in Morse.The Lady Cyclones play at 5 p.m., followed by the Cyclones at 6:30 p.m.Nov. 18The junior high Memphis Whirlwinds and Lady Whirlwinds will play the Highland Park Hornets.

CHILDRESS — In a Battle of the Cats, Childress was bested by Canadian in a 28-7 final, as the Wildcats took the District 1-3A Division II Championship Friday, Nov. 11 at Fair Park Stadium in Childress.

Wellington blanks Memphis for perfect district record

MEMPHIS — Maintaining a perfect 5-0 district record, the Wellington Skyrockets wrapped up the regular season Friday, Nov. 11 at George Berry Memorial Stadium in Memphis,blanking the Memphis Cyclones in a 49-0 final for the District 5-2A Division II crown.
