CHILDRESS — In the final non-district matchup of the season, the Childress Bobcats fell to the Stratford Elks, suffering their third consecutive loss.With a scoreless first half by the Bobcats, Stratford was up 7-0 at the half, thanks to a late touchdown in the second quarter.

SPEARMAN — The Wellington Lady Rocket cross country team recently competed at the Palo Duro Lake Invitational Tuesday, Oct. 1 in Spearman, taking a fourth-place team finish with 141 points.Out of 79 individual competitors, Taytum Kane secured a third-place finish, clocking a time of 13:17.
