Kindergartener Will Patterson accepts the Angel’s Subs & Sweets gift certificate on behalf of his mother, Abby Williams. Around 150 parents joined their children for lunch Friday, April 4 for Go Blue Day. Wellington Gun Club, established in 2023, has plans to open the 2025 shooting season with a variety of shooting competitions at its 40-acre range, one mile west of Wellington on FM 338 and a half mile north on CR170. Spectators are invited to come out and watch the competitors in the Turkey Shoot, Quail Walk and Annie Oakley.
