I discovered Facebook after I retired from teaching and lost my behind in the oilfields of West Texas. My wife and I packed up what we could in a borrowed pickup and left the rest to the bankers. One of the few things I kept from my past was 20,000 pictures my mother had saved for me when she died.

The one positive the City of Wellington possessed throughout the years was an abundance of quality leadership. Surnames like Sullivan, Singley, Sims, Wells, Fires, Leggitt, Masten, Templeton, Handley, Cudd, Coleman, Henard and Glenn are just a few examples. Fred LeDerer was another.
