WELLINGTON – For almost a quarter of a century, the Christmas Shoebox Ministry at First Baptist Wellington continues its Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child project. The tradition began with the late Rubye Hodges, longtime Sunday school teacher and director of the GoodTime Singers.

CHILDRESS — Two hundred and thirty-three furry friends were vaccinated at the recent free rabies vaccination clinic Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Fair Park Pavillion.“The rabies clinic was a huge success,” rabies vaccination clinic volunteer Letta Hinton said.

Skinner speaks Godly wisdom at Ladies Spark Day

WELLINGTON – The women of First Nazarene Church created a spectacular brunch buffet to welcome women to their Third Annual Ladies Spark Day from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 9. Women traveled from Amarillo, Clarendon, Dodson, Pampa, Samnorwood and the Wellington area for the inspirational occasion.
