    AMARILLO — Childress High School senior Taylor Wiseman, a University of Oregon commit, was recently nominated for the Amarillo Globe-News Happy State Bank Athlete of the Week, announced Monday, April 22.

    Wiseman, up against players from Amarillo, Booker, Dumas, Hereford, Plainview and Randall, won two gold medals at the recent Region I-3A track meet, placing first in discus and shot put. Wiseman to…
