Joe Richard Barnett, of Canadian, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, in an Abilene care facility at the age of 80 years and five months. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec.12, 2022, at the Canadian Methodist Church with Rev. Lewis Holland and Rev. Danny Sanders officiating. There will be a private burial at Hollis, Okla.’s Fairmount Cemetery later.
