    AMARILLO — Childress Bobcat Head Basketball Coach Wayne Parker was recently named 2023 Amarillo Globe-News Coach of the Year,announced Sunday,April 9.

    “It’s definitely exciting, but I know I couldn’t get this award without the team, a good staff and administration,” Parker said. “It was an all-around good team effort.”
