Fredonia Wartrenia Hunnicutt was the seventh child born to Odell, Sr., and Lucy Meadows on June 25, 1942. Fredonia, commonly known as Fred by her coworkers and Sista babe by family, was born in Idabel, Okla. At the age of 7, she moved to Wellington, Texas for the family business.
