Misty Dawn Fields Hendren, age 45, passed away on Jan. 27, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at the Childress Church of Christ with Dee Green officiating.
Burial was held at 2 p.m. Jan. 20, 2024, in Guthrie Cemetery (King County Cemetery) under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
Misty was born on June 3, 1978, to Jimmy Jack Fields and Laquita (Bomar) Fields in Lubbock,Texas.
Misty was a crafty person with a giving heart. She would crochet infant beanie hats to give to newborns in the hospital. She also used her craftiness to construct birdhouses with biblical scriptures to give to the residents of Cottage Village.She had a big heart and loved everyone. She faithfully attended church at the Childress Church of Christ when her health allowed. She was also a great cook.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Jack Fields.
Misty is survived by son Kadin Hendren, of Carrollton, Texas; mother Laquita (Bomar) Fields, of Childress; brother Byron Fields, of Childress; uncles Robert Bomar and wife Linda, of Midland, Texas, and Wylie Bomar and wife Laree, of Silverton, Texas; aunt Debbie Peckham and husband Gary, of Granbury, Texas; and numerous cousins, nephews an nieces.
