CHILDRESS — Area teams competed in the Rocket Relays Thursday, March 12 in Wellington, including the Childress Lady Cats,who captured the varsity girls’ championship with 141.5 points.

Beating rival Canadian, which came in second place, over 20 points behind Childress, the Lady Cats brought home five first-place finishes, including Selah Smith, who clocked a time of 12:44.12 in the 3,200-meter run;…
