Childress’ Ansley Parr, a junior pitcher for the Lady Cats, was recently named to Texas High School Softball’s 3A Preseason Top Players to Watch. Her sophomore season, Parr lead Texas by 19 strikeouts, ranking up 268 punchouts on just 47 walks in 126.2 innings across 24 games.
