WELLINGTON – The Skyrockets traveled to Clarendon on Friday, Jan. 20, falling by a final score of 62-44 to the Broncos. Their first loss in district competition, the Rockets are 2-1 headed into the Shamrock game this week.

CHILDRESS — Opening the 2023 powerlifting season, three Childress Lady Cats, Rebekkah Gorman, Leila Guzman and Kaidie Hackler, and one Memphis Lady Cyclone, Magaly Torres, took gold at the recent Childress Girls’ Powerlifting Invitational.

CHILDRESS — On a four-win streak, the Childress Bobcats opened district play Friday, Jan. 13, dominating the Abernathy Antelopes in a 61-28 final, thanks to Lamont Nickleberry, who scored a game-high 28 points, followed by Aiden Allen, who put up an a dditional 15.
