No. 3 Wellington blanks Memphis Cyclones

WELLINGTON — Picking up their second consecutive district win of the season, the No. 3 Wellington Skyrockets blasted past the Memphis Cyclones in a 50-0 blank Friday night, Oct. 14 at Powell Field.

CHILDRESS — Childress Lady Cats Clarissa Gamboa and Hailey Holder will advance to the Regional Invitational, to held Monday, Oct.24 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock,following finishes within the top 10 at the recent District Invitational. “The girls ran really well,” Coach Maggie Collins said.
