CHILDRESS — Opening spring break play Tuesday, March 12, the Childress Bobcat fell to Idalou in a 5-4 match following a four-run tie in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Lady Cats take tall win over Roosevelt, drop streak to Shallowater

CHILDRESS — On a 10-game win streak, the Childress Lady Cats downed the Roosevelt Lady Eagles Monday, March 18 in a 10-2 final, thanks to Kaleigh Ross, who drove in four runs on two hits. Ross also hit a grand slam to center field in the fifth inning.

Childress, Wellington players named to TABC All-Region teams

CHILDRESS — Two Childress Bobcats, as well as one Wellington Skyrocket and three Wellington Lady Rockets,were recently named to 2023-2024 UIL Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Region teams.

QUANAH — Jaelyn Gaxiola drove in four runs on three hits to lead the Memphis Lady Cyclones past Quanah in a 25-3 final Tuesday, March 19. Gaxiola singled in the second, scoring two; doubled in the fourth, scoring two; and singled in the fourth, scoring one.
