Led by Wellington freshman Carter Ouellette, the Skyrocket golf team finishes in second at the recent Canadian Tournament, shooting a 353. Individual scores include Ouellette, 83; Gunner Guy, 86; Gatlin Guy, 89; Major Brown, 95; Hunter Hedrick, 104.

CHILDRESS — On a seven-game win streak, the Childress Lady Cats downed Abernathy and Idalou last week, upping their streak to 10 wins. Taking on the Lady Lopes Saturday, March 9, Journey Prince drove in four runs on one hit to lead the Lady Cats past Abernathy in a 15-0 shutout.

WELLINGTON – Eleven Wellington players, including six Lady Rockets and five Skyrockets, earned 2-2A All-District honors. The Lady Rockets finished their history-making season 29-7 as state semi-finalists.
