WELLINGTON – The Gamma Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma conducted its recent meeting in the home of Phyllis Floyd. President Nancy Henard called the meeting to order. Treasurer Dianne Phillips gave the financial report. The minutes of the October meeting were accepted as read.

WELLINGTON – Dodson Church of the Nazarene Pastor Kevin Harris brought a message of Five Kernels of Thanksgiving for the Collingsworth County Ministerial Alliance annual harvest season service at 6 p.m. Sunday,Nov.19.The occasion took place at the Wellington Church of the Nazarene.

RAFFLE, BAZAAR The Wellington Methodist Women’s quilt raffle will take place at the annual Fall Bazaar, set for 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Fellowship Hall, 911 Bowie St.
The Wellington Methodist Women’s quilt raffle will take place at the annual Fall Bazaar, set for 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Fellowship Hall, 911 Bowie St. A tradition since the 1950s, the bazaar will offer a time of fellowship, food and fun as the community is invited to come shop at the fundraising event. LIONS FIESTA FUNDRAISER The annual Wellington Lions Club Fiesta Pile-On fundraiser set for 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at the school cafeteria, 1505 Childress St., prior to the Skyrocket versus Wheeler Mustang football game. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children 12-and-under.
