Hundreds experience Living History weekend

WELLINGTON – Hundreds of students and history enthusiasts converged upon the Powell Park campground site Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7 for the third annual Rocky Sprott Living History weekend, hosted by Sons of Confederate Veterans Charles Goodnight, Frontier Reg. Camp No. 2280.
The Wellington Ritz Theatre’s annual Halloween Spooktacular canned food drive is set for Monday, Oct. 23. The costume contest begins at 6 p.m., followed by a 45-minute feature, “Room on the Broom,” at 6:30 p.m. Admission is one canned food item per person to benefit a local food pantry. Courtesy Image
