100 Club of Texas Panhandle hosts dedicatory open house for Wall of Honor in Amarillo

AMARILLO — Behind the badge is a man or woman who chose to protect, either as a police officer or firefighter.

Beyond being a symbol of public safety, the badge also provides the livelihood for a family — a livelihood which is diminished when the wearer is severely injured or dies on the job.
