Wellington’s Rilynn Southerland, Elli Ouellette and Jasmin Moreno advance to the Texas State VASE contest.
AMARILLO – Accompanied by Wellington High School (WHS) art instructor Marnie Kane, five art students competed Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) in Amarillo.
“All six WHS pieces advanced to the area round, representing the outstanding work of Jacy Lampe, Jasmin Moreno, Elli Ouellette with two pieces, Bailey Page and Rilynn Southerland,” said WHS Principal Jermaine Cantu.
