Glynn Moore Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6439 Auxiliary receives $180 in proceeds for hosting the 12 Days of Christmas blood drive on Dec. 19, 2022. Presented by Coffee Memorial Blood Center, the Wellington VFW Post Auxiliary received $10 per unit for meeting the goal of 18 units of blood.

Childress High School celebrates prom Saturday, April 15 at the Mashburn Event Center. This year’s theme was “The Beverly Hills Hotel,” a five-star hotel which provides a discreetly glamorous hideaway for the Hollywood elite.
A Mexican Pile-On Fundraiser, benefiting the Boy and Girl Scouts of Childress, will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 24 at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
