Celebrating Childress Downtown Historical Association’s Second Annual Rocktober, Childress County Heritage Museum will host a pumpkin painting party beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. “Come celebrate the Second Annual Rocktober,” Childress County Heritage Museum Director Niki Seal said.

WELLINGTON – A tradition since the 1950s, Wellington Methodist Women’s Fall Bazaar is set for 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Fellowship Hall, 911 Bowie St.The lunch menu, consisting of chili or stew, pie and a drink, will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
