Wellington Lions Club Sweetheart Mallory O’Rear competed Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Lions District 2-T1 Queen Contest. Held at the Amarillo Area Foundation, Boss Lion Margret Wood commented that O’Rear answered her questions with poise and confidence. Her stepdad, Dusty Holland, served as her escort.

Collingsworth Public Library’s annual book fair is approaching Thursday, Jan. 30-Thursday, Feb. 6, but the online fair is already open. “You can shop now, build wish lists and purchase gift cards for your favorite student or teacher,” Librarian Vicki Decker said.
