Childress FD presents awards, dedicates truck

CHILDRESS – The Childress Fire Department dedicated its newest truck and honored several firefighters during a public ceremony last Friday, Aug. 28.The new Spartan S-180 was purchased by the City of Childress at a cost of about $985,000, according to Fire Chief Ralph Freeman.

DODSON – Tri-County Co-op Board President Rex Henard welcomed the crowd to the Tri-County Co-Op Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Dodson Nazarene Family Life Center. Around 50 gin staff, stockholders, cotton producers, local citizens, and special guests assembled for the occasion.
