Tuesday, June 9, a Beechcraft Beech Jet flew in from San Antonio to pick up passengers, and a Cessna Citation dropped off a couple and picked up some more headed to Canada.

The clip-clop of horses’ hooves on Wellington’s downtown brick streets opened the 2025 patriotic Fourth of July parade as Dixie Thomas and Ellie Thomas carry the colors. Celebrating America’s 250th birthday, the 2026 “Red, White and Boots” Community Parade is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4.
