WELLINGTON — The Wellington Skyrockets recently picked up district championship and Senior Night wins over the Memphis Cyclones Tuesday, April 22 and Friday, April 25.
Earning a 9-8 district championship win on Tuesday, the Skyrockets took a late lead in the top of the seventh, thanks to a single by Major Brown, which scored one run to break an 8-8 tie.
