WELLINGTON — The Wellington Skyrockets put together a 48-28 homecoming win Friday, Sept. 12 at Powell Field, downing the Friona Chieftains to remain undefeated.
On the night, quarterback Callen Kane went 12-of-24 for 240 yards through the air with three touchdowns and ran for two more scores, while teammate Noah Cantu rushed for a team-high 141 yards on 19 carries with a touchdown.
