AMARILLO — Wellington’s Brenden Garcia, a junior, was recently voted as Amarillo Globe News’ Happy State Bank Athlete of the Week, tallying 7,532 (62.96%) of the 11,963 votes cast.
Earning the honor, Garcia scored 21 points against Wheeler, making the Amarillo Globe-News Top Male Performers in the Texas Panhandle, announced Tuesday, Jan. 16.
