CHILDRESS — In a Battle of the Cats, Childress was bested by Canadian in a 28-7 final, as the Wildcats took the District 1-3A Division II Championship Friday, Nov. 11 at Fair Park Stadium in Childress.

Despite the lopsided score, the Bobcat defense did their job, holding the Wildcats in a scoreless second half.

The No. 2 seed in the district, Childress heads into the playoffs on a 4-1 district run.
