CHILDRESS — Childress High School’s Elliot Theparrukkul is up for Youth Athlete of the Year, a title which will be featured in a 3BRAND advertisement in Sports Illustrated, as well as take home $25,000.
An upcoming senior, Theparrukkul serves as a wide receiver and defensive back for the varsity Childress Bobcats, with his love for competition fueling his fiery style on the field.
