Childress, Wellington athletes punch ticket to regional round

    CANYON/PANHANDLE — Childress and Wellington track and field athletes recently punched tickets to the regional round, recently competing in area championships.

    Competing in the 3A Area 1-2 Championships, Childress advanced six individuals and three teams, including Jaden Walker, who took the 100-meter dash area championship, clocking a time of 10.61.
