Wellington outlasts Haskell for bi-district championship title

    BURKBURNETT — The Wellington Skyrockets opened the bi-district round with a 41-22 win over the Haskell Indians Thursday, Nov. 13 at Bulldog Stadium in Burkburnett.

    With a balanced offense, the Skyrockets rushed for 245 yards while passing 223 yards. With a close first half, Wellington took over in the third quarter, as Noah Cantu made a touchdown run on 11 yards, putting the Skyrockets up at 34-16.
