AMARILLO — Wellington’s Charley Wilbur was recently named the Press Pass Sports First United Bank Girls Athlete of the Week, announced Wednesday, Feb. 28.
“Wilbur had a monster three games that lifted the Wellington Lady Skyrockets to their first-ever UIL state tournament appearance,” Press Pass Sports’ Kale Steed said. “In three wins over Vega, New Home and Farwell, Wilbur averaged 21.3 points.”
