Childress’ Ellerbook, Keys named Whoppers of the Week

Childress Bobcat BoostersChildress’ Noah Ellerbrook and Avery Keys were recently selected as McDonald’s Wednesday Whoppers of the Week, announced Wednesday, Jan. 7. Earning the distinction, Ellerbrook scored 23 points against Memphis, shooting 7-of-9 from the three-point line Friday, Jan.

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Rockets hosted the Panhandle Panthers on Friday, Jan. 9, falling by a final score of 60-48. Freshman Jax Cantu led in scoring for the Skyrockets with 19 points.

The Lady Rockets held their own, as Panhandle had only a two-point lead at halftime, but came up shy, 48-39, as the final buzzer sounded.
